week 22

Sunday, May 29, 2011: Glitter nails! After getting this idea from another wonderful teenager, my teenage niece and her friend decided we should do glitter nails too. We I did our toes and their fingers. It is really simple and really sparkly!

Monday, May 30, 2011: After dropping the girls of at EFY we head straight down to the cabin. It had been forever since we had seen Dadda, and Isaac's face beamed when he saw him. We also got to see Grandma & Grandpa C. Grandma is the sweet-treat-lady, so I gave her a few ideas for Isaac. When he saw her stash he plopped and the floor and signed 'more' She was delighted to spoil this little guy.

Tuesday, May 31, 2011: Our annual hiking trip was in full swing now that we had joined up with the group. Jeremy was with his Grandma and Grandpa C, Dad, and Aunt Becky and now we added his Mom, myself and of course the newest hiker, Isaac. Last year we went when Isaac was 5 weeks old and he just slept in his little wrap while we hiked. This year he was all about the "stick" and couldn't wait to be let loose on the mountain.

Wednesday, June 1, 2011: Today Jeremy, Isaac and I opted out of the hiking and stayed at the cabin to help our sick boys recover. We also had big plans to make dinner so it was a good day to lay low. After being at the cabin all day we took a quick trip into town to get some last minute ingredients and hit the local park. Isaac had a blast, and even took away some bruises.

Thursday, June 2, 2011: This is Jeremy's Grandma C, almost 80 and still hiking with the rest of us.

Friday, June 3, 2011: Jeremy's Parents with Jeremy and Isaac in his pack. Isaac didn't love his pack but Jeremy and I sang silly songs and he did better. He even took a couple of quick snoozes, which was adorable.

Saturday, June 4, 2011: We left the cabin and headed back up to SLC. We stopped at the cemetery on the way up to place flowers for Grandma and Grandpa Stone, Brent and Aunt Erma and Uncle Lou. Just another part of our annual trip.
