Week 4

Sunday, January 23, 2011: This boy is growing like crazy. He is feeding himself all sorts of yummy foods. Here he is eating a barley teething biscuit, yum! Hopefully all that gnawing helps push those top teeth through, cause they have been causing us some grief at night.

Monday, January 24, 2011: Here goes the project around our house right now: finishing the garage. We had to redo the electrical, insulate and of course clean it out. And by we I mean Jeremy and Jorge :) Later this week it we will get drywall and soon after it will be finished. Finally a nice clean garage to park Jeremy's work truck. (Did I mention he got a new work truck just before the end of the year :)

Tuesday, January 25, 2011: Isaac loves to play with Auntie Cora. She plays music for him on her recorder and has since he was just a wee one. Now that he is more interactive he likes to play the recorder himself and then also share and help her to play. What a good helper.

Wednesday, January 26, 2011: Once a week they have open gym for kids under 5 at a local gymnastics studio. We met up with Matthew and Olga as well as Branson, Aaron and Breanne. Isaac couldn't get enough! He spent the entire hour and a half moving. He crawled up and down everything, through tunnels, went on the swings, trampoline, and even in the 'pit.' It was so fun to watch him explore. Here the boys are walking along the beam. (Isaac, Matthew and cousin Branson).

Thursday, January 27, 2011: Toys. Why bother? This kid loves coasters! (as well as remotes, cell phones, plastic containers, etc.)

Friday, January 28, 2011: Here is Winter Fest nominated cousin McKenna! She was one of three freshman nominated by faculty and voted by peers for Winter Fest royalty. We helped her shop for her dress last week and helped her get ready for the evening. Isaac was a little jealous of her escort, just saying.

Saturday, January 29, 2011: Cora has been working at Forever 21 at the mall for a year and a half, since they moved in as an anchor store. Tomorrow they will be closing down for a major rennovation. Which means Cora will be down to 1 job for awhile. I think it is a major blessing. Now she doesn't have to work late nights at the mall after a full day at school and her other job. Hooray for more time to focus on school and playing Isaac!!
