So I finally was able to surprise Jeremy...just a little. It was his birthday this year on a Wednesday...which of course I was working. We had a birthday dinner planned for that evening but his office always does a birthday lunch, to which of course I would be invited if I didn't have to work. Well sneaky me...I took the afternoon off, got a sub, and even changed into regular clothes before running through the rain to surprise J at his lunch birthday party. So pizza and cake for birthday boy's lunch, and then off to the grocery store for me so that I could go home and make the best birthday dinner (the other reason I needed the afternoon off :).
(Oh and I almost blew it like 10 times earlier in the week...I am not such a great surprise/secret keeper)
