dear 2009,
has it been a whole year already? i feel like i was just getting to know you. but as it turns out new year's eve is upon us and it is time to say good-bye. i will try to recount some of the things most remembered about this past year. rang in 2009 by chaperoning a youth party, (seems like that is the plan for this year as well). a spent our first valentine's day together not utah, and not going to a show at the hale theatre (went to tahoe instead). jeremy and i both got braces. celebrated jeremy's birthday. celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary. jeremy got his braces off. went to panguitch for our annual trip. went to mn for cora's graduation. cora and margo visited, cora stayed. swam in our pool for the first time. completed our first year of ca residence, meaning our first year of ca work, ca teaching and ca home ownership. celebrated my birthday. started a 2nd ca school year in a new classroom teaching a new grade. jeremy coached waterpolo. spent fall break dreaming of hawaii. went to ut for thanksgiving and got to attend one of the biggest college football rivalry games. said good-bye to grandma stone. spent christmas day at home. anxiously dreading the end of christmas break, which means going back to school.
